I have been a software developer for 8 years and had the opportunity to work for leading financial institutions in Warsaw. At the beginning of my career, I used to develop with C++ and Java related technologies. But I had the opportunity to discover C# and then decided to develop my skills in Microsoft .Net.
I joined Margo in August 2017 to work as a Quant for a Swiss Investment Bank. My main duty is to implement market risk models in accordance with regulations. I program in C# and other .Net languages. Sometimes I deal with Excel tables and VBA macros. I also spend some time on writing PowerShell scripts.
Why did you choose Margo?
The recruitment process with Margo is extremely robust and professional. In my case it was also quick. Moreover, the project was particularly interesting: working in quantitative finance for one of the leading global investment banks was an amazing opportunity. These two points convinced me to sign a contract with Margo, so here I am!
What is your favourite part of the job?
I value working on software more than tons of documents and hours of meetings, so programming is what I like and what I actually do. I work in an agile environment, so I must be able to react very quickly to changing requirements, staying focused on software performance, scalability and extensibility. These kinds of challenges in everyday work is a very exciting thing for me.
I am personally involved in the candidates’ technical verification process. I think it is awesome to have an impact on the quality of hired .NET consultants. One such candidate joined my team and he performs really well!
In your view, what are Margo’s daily values?
I think Margo main’s value is business excellence. We find it at every level. Our recruitment staff is highly qualified. There is also a fine sieve of candidates’ technical verification that ensures each of our consultants will perform in their field of expertise.

If you had to describe Margo using only one word, which one would it be and why?
Brilliance. In comparison to other consulting companies that I had opportunity to work with, Margo really shines.
